New U.S. Legal Poker Site Opens

Grrrinders.com officially launched its U.S. based, UIEGA compliant poker site. Located in Sparks, NV Grrrinders offers over 750 monthly FreeRolls with prizes ranging from cash, weekend getaways, to entries into live poker events throughout the U.S. All tournaments are free to premium members on the site, wh0 pay a monthly membership as low as $19.95 and never pay buy-ins, deposits, or wagers of any type.

“Poker players should not be forced to lose money to practice their craft” states David Webb, founder of Grrrinders. “Tiger Woods doesn’t pay to hit golf balls each time he practices, he goes to his country club to work on his game for free. Our mission is to provide the serious recreational players, social players, and those who wish to play poker against solid fields a chance to work on their game with the allure of also winning meaningful prizes” adds Webb.

Grinding has always been affiliated with poker, and online players often use the term “grrr” as a sign of anguish. The website became “Grrrinders” by coming the often used terms.

Currently, www.grrrinders.com is giving away 20 seats to the 2011 Jennifer Harman Throwdown to its members. Every Monday, is WSOP 1k Giveaway where the winner receives a $1000 seat to his choice of $1k events at the WSOP, as well as $500 in spending money. Trips are also offered to Heartland Poker Tour events and the Orleans Open. $1500 freeroll on Friday and a $5,000 monthly is also included.

Grrrinders is a web-based platform. There is no software to download and operates on all operating systems. The site has a vibrant social community that was part of the entire design process, from the selection of the software used, to the tournament structures to the unique blogging, skype, and forum building process.

Starting May 1, 2011 the “Become a pro” competition begins. One lucky player will receive $35,000 in live tournament buy-ins and join resident pros Jason Stern and Stacey Lynn representing the site at live events, grinding their way as our newest professional.
