How to Play the Nuts in Poker

This hand is the one that everyone wants to have. Most of the time, it's referred to as 'the nuts.' Here's the thing ... if you're lucky enough to be in this position in a poker game you want to do now is milk as much money out of this as you possibly can ... However, it can be quite difficult.

Just because you're holding the shining hand doesn't mean that you don't have to work just as hard as a regular hand. You can't be beaten, but you need to make this one count. When you have this kind of hand, the most important thing is not the hand, it's the other people you're playing with.

 Of course, there is no step-by-step way to play this sort of hand because there are so many things that can change the course of how the game is played. Knowing who you're playing against is the first step.

Are they aggressive players ? Are they tight players?

When you have this information, it will be easier for you to get as much money from them as possible.

Should you play slowly or should you be aggressive ?

There is a risk that you could alert your opponents and with that leaves your chance of getting more money. Think about how the betting is going. If the betting is really hot and then you get the hand, you will probably be able to simply sit back and allow the other players to continue betting. This will increase the winnings over and over and you can really just lie low.

Most of the time, right before you get your perfect hand, there will be a lot of hot action with raises and then a lot of checks after you've gotten your hand. If the other players are betting and the action is hot, don't worry about it because you pretty much don't have to do a thing.

Here's the thing though ... what if it's pretty dead before the hand ?

If no one is betting, raising and if there is nothing happening how do you increase your winnings ?

Here you're going to have to be a bit more proactive than the other scenario. You're going to have to use strategy and creativity in order to make a big paycheck. What you can do is bet and bet wisely. In this situation, you will be working hard to get the money that you get. You can hope for some chasing and that the other players are able to build a good hand.

Of course, who cares ... right ?

You've got the superstar, ultimate, kick butt cards. So, this chance allows you to build up more money in the jackpot. This is the goal of course. There is no set way to play this hand but the key is to play it in the way you think will create more money for you to win.

 Luckily, no matter what happens, you will not lose money so focus your concentration on what you can do in order to make yourself win more money ... Do what you can.
